Pudsey Bear Fund Raising a huge success !!

Charlotte wishes to thank all of her customers and the two local surrey schools and the local rainbow and brownie groups for supporting the Children In Need Pudsey Bear painting appeal.

So far over 250 children have painted their very own glazed Pudsey Bear, and you can still come in and paint one while stocks last, all children receive a certificate,ribbon and a window sucker to hang their Pudsey Bear proudly in their bedroom window.

The amount we have raised will be on the Website at the end of November once the appeal has finished.

Georgina Kemp huge success on the catwalk at Earls Court Fashion Week

On Tuesday 9th June 2009 Georgina Kemp, Charlotte’s younger sister showed her first collection at the catwalk at Earls Court for the graduate fashion week, her collection as been featured on the River Island website.  Charlotte was a very proud sister on Tuesday and wishes Georgiee  the best for the exciting future that beckons, she hopes she will start making shoes (as charlotte never has enough shoes)

Village Ceramics Summer Opening hours

Over the summer period Village Ceramics will be opening slighlty different hours so that Charlotte can spend some quality time with her daughter and enjoy the summer also. Booking is as always essential to avoid disappointment. 

These hours will come in to effect Friday 24th July 2009 and last until Friday 28th August 2009.

Chloe’s Cakes Website launched

Chloe’s Homemade Cakes and Cupcakes now has its own expanding website, where you can view all recent cakes made and also view all of the money raised for help for heroes charity which will be updated monthly.

Charlotte is able to create and make cakes for all ages, occasions and has a huge amount of ideas to make your special event extra special and unique. From christening cupcakes to wedding cakes to a childrens party cake, she likes to meet with you and discuss your requirements and also provide sketches and description of how your cake will look.

Chloe’s cakes donates 25% of all sales to the help for heroes charity.

Village Ceramics is having a make over !!!

On Monday 6th July 2009 through to Friday 10th July 2009 Village Ceramics will be closed completely due to it having a make over, we have new sinks,toilet,hot water system,hand dryer,kitchen facilities,flooring and a lick of paint etc as it has been 12 years this July since we first opened we thought it was time to have a freshen up.

We reopen  on Saturday 11th July 2009 at 10am.

Back again by popular demand the Kids Crafty Creative Summer School

Children from the age of 5 years upwards can come and spend the day at Village Ceramics fully supervised and make and create lots of different Art and Craft items, the children are provided with refreshments and an ice lolly during the day, parents are asked to provide a pack lunch and drink for the lunch break, the cost is £25 and the summer school is running on Tuesdays and Thursdays and starts on the 28th July 2009 until Thursday 24th August 2009 at 10am until 3pm. Places are very limited  in order to give the kids as much one to one time as possible and booking well in advance essential.

£5 discount if two sessions are booked through the summer holidays

Village Ceramic’s Is Raising Money For The Help For Heroes Charity

Please support the help for heroes charity something very close to Charlotte’s heart as her husband Jay was  not so long ago in the line of fire in Basra, Iraq.

Available within Village Ceramics Studio we will be selling  Chloe’s homemade cupcakes to enjoy while your painting or take home for tea !!! The cost is £1.00 per cupcake and 25% from each cupcake will be donated to the help for hereos fund.

 Each month the total amount we have raised will be posted on the website.

If you ever need a special cake or batch of cupcakes Charlotte has now set up another business making cakes (because she has so much spare time)  so please contact her to discuss your requirements and Chloe’s Cakes will also be donating 25% from all sales. Within our news section their is some pictures of her recent work under Chloe’s Cakes.
